Point system - deleted posts still counts

Can I modify the point system so that deleted posts will not count to the user's point, so when I delete the posts they will actually lose 10 points.
One of the user told me that when he keep deleting and posting new replies he'll get points each time.

Yes they do. If you delete posts, that doesn't reduce the points.

So isn't there any solution to prevent the users from collecting points by posting and deleting?
Flood control... but that isn't a good way... any other solution please?

How about doing like this make the forum so that members can not delete their own posts also take the points away from those users who have done that.
